About Matthew
I strongly believe that anyone can excel studying Maths, it's just a matter of having the right support and reassurance! I have a passion for teaching and I love the feeling of helping someone finally understand a topic that they have been struggling with, especially Maths that can be so frustrating sometimes! In terms of my own qualifications, I have a first-class honours degree from Durham University in Economics and also gained 4 A*s at A-Level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Economics. I have 100s of hours of tutoring experience with all of my previous tutees achieving significant improvements in their A-Level and GCSE grades. References are available upon request.

I will create unique and personalized sessions that are catered to any topic that you would require. These sessions will begin with a basic introduction to the topic, progressing in difficulty throughout the session, finally finishing with past exam questions on that topic. There will be problems to test your understanding throughout the session, which will all have worked solutions so that you can check whether you are on the right track at any point. These lessons normally last for 2 hours (but can be tailored for your requirements) as I believe that this allows for a comprehensive overview of any topic. This methodology is tried and tested with all of my previous tutees (both for A-Level and GCSE Maths) enjoying the structure, but the sessions remain flexible to your own specific needs.
