About Omar

Hi! I have just graduated with a First in History at UCL (University College London) and I am very passionate for the subject!

At school, I achieved an A* in both GCSE and A-Level History. Previously, I have taught students between the ages of 10 and 19, in subjects such as English, History and Philosophy. This includes work at a South London primary school as well as teaching abroad.

One of my main aims is to make you enjoy your lessons. I believe that an interest in your subject is key to progression and high achievement. We will look to go beyond the syllabus and explore areas of history through more tangible sources such as music or film if possible. If you just want help to get the best grade you can, then I'm here for that too! Lessons will always be efficient and target-driven. Crucially, I also have a structured approach to help you improve upon your essay writing skills.

I live in Fulham and can tutor in-person within a reasonable distance. I can alternatively do online sessions too.

About the lesson

Find History boring or difficult?

- I aim to try and flip this around through dynamic lessons that will help you achieve the best grades
- Lessons will be structured according to your syllabus / specialised areas of history.
- Previous teaching experience at primary schools and one-on-one teaching with secondary school students
- Teaching students of all ages
