About Nicole
Hi, I’m Nicole, a First Class MA Interior Design graduate from Kingston University. I specialise in supporting students with interior design projects, portfolio development, and university applications.
My background in interior design has developed my skills in concept development, spatial thinking, visual storytelling, and design communication. I understand what universities and design schools are looking for, both in project work and portfolios, and I aim to help students meet these expectations with clarity and confidence.
Having gone through university applications and intensive design projects myself, I understand how overwhelming the process can feel — especially when developing ideas, structuring work, or maintaining creative direction. This allows me to support students in a more practical and empathetic way, helping them move forward with clarity and purpose.
I enjoy working with students who are creative but may feel unsure about how to structure or communicate their ideas. My goal is to help you build confidence in your thinking, strengthen your visual communication, and develop a stronger overall design direction.

My lessons are structured, focused, and tailored to each student’s level and project needs. Each session is designed to improve both the thinking and presentation behind your work, not just the final outcome.
Depending on your needs, lessons may include project feedback, concept development, portfolio layout and refinement, presentation improvement, and support with university applications. I also help students develop stronger visual communication and clearer design narratives.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long, with longer sessions available for portfolio reviews or deadline support.
I support:
- A-Level and Foundation students applying to design courses
Undergraduate Interior Design students needing studio/project support
- Students preparing portfolios for university applications (BA or MA)
- Creative students who want to improve concept development and presentation skills
My teaching style is supportive but structured, focusing on clear next steps so you always know how to improve your work after each session.
