About Mohammad
Hi, I’m Mohammad (or simply Mo), a dedicated and approachable Maths tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for teaching. I graduated with a First-Class B.Sc (Hons) in Mathematics and went on to complete my Master’s in Business Administration, where I was honoured with the Best Master’s Student Award. Over the past three years, I’ve taught and mentored batches of over 60 students, helping them not only excel in Maths but also develop essential communication skills. I became a tutor because I love guiding students to reach their true potential, encouraging them to step out of their comfort zone, build confidence, and see Maths as both a skill and a powerful tool for problem-solving. My goal is to create an engaging, supportive learning environment where every student feels inspired to ask questions, challenge themselves, and achieve lasting success.

I take a calm, personalised approach to tutoring, adapting each lesson to suit the student’s pace, needs, and learning style. With 3+ years’ experience teaching batches of over 60 students, I focus on building strong foundations, boosting confidence, and making Maths engaging through clear, step-by-step explanations, real-life examples, and guided practice. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and include a recap of previous topics, focused teaching, and time for questions to ensure full understanding. I work with GCSE, A-Level, and university entry-level students, including those with additional needs or learning gaps. My goal is to create a supportive, motivating space where students not only master Maths but also develop problem-solving and communication skills that benefit them beyond the classroom.
