About James
My strongest subject is maths, I have achieved a first class degree in mathematics from the University of Exeter and an A* in my maths A-levels with 94% at A level and 98% in my AS exams. My teaching style is to let the student really try to work around their problem and to figure it out themselves with hints to help them along the way. I feel that this way they will know what to do when they are in the exam as they truly understand it rather than just copying down notes. Learning by doing is very important in maths and my previous students have gained confidence and improved their grades quickly through my teaching methods.
