About Hodan
Hello, I’m Hodan — a first-class Mathematics graduate and UK-qualified teacher with QTS. With experience teaching Math at all levels, I’m dedicated to helping students build confidence and achieve real understanding. My lessons are always student-centered and tailored to individual learning styles. I create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. My goal is to make Math enjoyable, accessible, and rewarding for every learner. My teaching approach is student-centred and tailored to each learner’s needs. I use a variety of techniques such as guided discovery, modelling, and plenty of practice to help students build confidence and deepen understanding. I encourage active participation and ensure every lesson is engaging, supportive, and focused on progress.
A typical lesson lasts about 60 minutes, though this can be adjusted depending on the student’s goals and attention span.
I hold a first-class degree in Mathematics and am a UK-trained, qualified teacher with QTS. I have experience teaching Maths at all levels—from primary through to A-Level—and I’m passionate about helping students of all abilities achieve success and enjoy learning Maths.
My lessons are ideal for school students, adult learners, and anyone preparing for exams or looking to strengthen their mathematical skills.
