About Maisie
I’m a 24-year-old Mechanical Engineering graduate who genuinely loves learning — but that wasn’t always the case! At school, I often struggled with concentration and found that traditional teaching methods didn’t always work for me. Over time, I learnt how to approach subjects in ways that suited my own learning style, and that experience has shaped the way I tutor.
I believe that struggling with a subject doesn’t mean you’re not capable of learning it. Sometimes, you just need someone to explain things differently, break them down, and be patient while you build your confidence. I aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace. My goal isn’t just to help students get the right answers, but to help them become more confident and enjoy learning along the way.
