About Freya
My name is Freya, I'm from Oxfordshire and living in London, having just graduated from the University of Cambridge. I have been tutoring part-time for over three years, teaching a range of levels in Spanish language and literature. As well as that, I teach up to degree-level French and English as a foreign language.
Throughout my time as a tutor I have prioritised my students' needs, catering to their learning approaches which for languages is of utmost importance! Confidence is essential when learning a new language, and this forms the basis of my teaching strategy.
I like to introduce creative and dynamic ways to study the areas of languages that are most difficult to engage with, making my lessons as fun, inspiring and helpful as possible.

Using techniques learnt from my degree, my teaching approach centres on boosting confidence and pinpointing specific challenges for different students to create a personalised and dynamic learning environment.
Lessons are usually 1-2 hours.
With three years of experience as a languages tutor (including teaching English as a foreign language), I have taught a range of students, from young school pupils and students with learning disabilities to corporate finance employees.
