Imogen is a mentor on a programme at Durham University where she works with A-level students as part of a widening participation programme. She runs online sessions with the students, working through topics such as: life at University, how applications work, what it's like to study at Durham, along with many other things. Imogen is working with a small group of students and will be with them from early in Year 12 right the way through to the end of Year 13. Imogen is professional, kind and approachable. She is reliable and hardworking and has an excellent manner with the students.

Imogen studied for 4 years at Durham University, graduating with a First Class MSc (integrated masters) in Natural Sciences, studying Physics and Philosophy - a challenging combination of subjects. She is very intelligent and enthusiastic about the subject, and a very capable physicist with particular interests in atomic physics and quantum optics.
