About Lucy
I am a recent graduate of Spanish (University of Leeds) keen to gain some experience in tutoring Spanish to any student that may have fallen behind due to the pandemic. I have 6 month of experience tutoring English to 2 young Chilean children who significantly improved their grades in their primary and secondary classes.

Before anything else I assess the student's strong points as I think it is just as important to focus on what they do well - from this I can work out how and why they do well in that particular area and I can apply this to areas where there is room for improvement. I am a strong believer in not over complicating or 'borifying' lessons so I take a fun and straightforward approach. Continuous evaluation I find relieves pressure off students and breaks learning down into manageable chunks, something hugely important with the long and bulky specifications used in schools today.
