About Rhys
I am a first-class MPhys Theoretical Physics graduate from Swansea University with previous one-to-one tutoring experience. I was also employed by Swansea University to support undergraduate students during teaching workshops, helping them work through problems and understand challenging concepts.
I enjoy helping students build confidence in Maths and Physics and making difficult topics feel more manageable. I am patient, approachable and happy to explain ideas in different ways until they make sense.

I tailor each lesson to the individual student, focusing on the topics and question types they find most difficult. I explain the underlying ideas clearly, work through examples step by step, and then help students apply the method independently to exam-style questions.
Lessons are typically one to two hours and are available for GCSE and A-level Maths and Physics. I have a first-class MPhys in Theoretical Physics from Swansea University, previous one-to-one tutoring experience, and experience supporting undergraduate students in university teaching workshops.
My approach is patient, structured and flexible, with explanations adapted until the student feels confident with the topic.
