About Nicholas
About Me I’m currently studying Engineering at Imperial College London, having achieved a 9 in GCSE Maths and an A in Additional Maths. I’ve also volunteered as a rowing coach for Year 9 and 10 students, which gave me valuable experience in teaching, motivating, and supporting learners.
Why I Want to Teach: I didn’t always find maths easy or enjoyable, but by breaking it into small, manageable steps I discovered real progress and even enjoyment. That method helped me succeed at A-level and now in my engineering degree. I want to share the same approach with my students, helping them build confidence and achieve the results they’re aiming for.

I take the time to personalise each lesson to your needs, identifying the topics where you need the most support and building a plan to help you reach your goals. I taught myself Additional Maths GCSE and achieved an A, the highest grade. Although I didn’t initially enjoy maths at GCSE, I discovered that breaking topics into small, personalised steps made learning not only easier but actually enjoyable. That approach inspired me to continue studying maths at A-level, and it’s the same method I now use to help students succeed.
