About Georgie
Hi, I’m Georgie and I’m studying Automotive Materials Engineering at Loughborough University. I found school quite challenging, but worked hard to achieve good results so that I could get into my dream university. I understand that Maths and Science can be difficult, especially when you don’t understand how the things that you are learning are being applied. Therefore, my goal in tutoring is to use my knowledge to make these subjects more interesting for you. Outside of Uni work, I like going to the gym, climbing, and taking part in formula student.

I like to make sure that my teaching relates to real-world applications, as well as covering all required topics. I find it much easier to learn when I understand why I am doing something, and I believe that this is the same for most students. While teaching maths, I aim to try and explain things in a way that makes sense, and I will also try to improve your confidence in your own mathematical ability. Similarly with Physics, I will help you to gather a base understanding in the subject, and make you confident in your abilities.
