About Aiden
I have taken my academics seriously for the entirety of my life and all of my teachers can attend to this as I've been commonly asked to help struggling students in the classroom. Around grade 11 I started to have peers approach me outside of class time seeking help in subjects such as math, english and some sciences. I realized that I enjoyed helping others in subject areas I was passionate about and decided that teaching school related concepts was so much more fun than the swimming instructing job I currently had LOL. Therefore in grade 12 I decided to tutor a few students in my free time and was paid through e-transfer or cash. After having experience teaching children and my peers alike, I am very confident in my abilities to teach math and physics to middle school and high school students.

-Firstly, I explain what the concept being taught is and its purpose/how it can be used in the real world to grasp the students attention and willingness to learn.
-Next, I briefly show the student how the concept should look with full solutions to give them an idea of what we are working with.
-Then, I break down the problem by giving slow, step by step progressions and allowing the student to interrupt and ask questions at anytime.
-I then allow the student to try the problem on their own with my guidance and allow them to use the completed example done together as a reference.
-Finally, I give the student a completely new problem to try on their own with less guidance. This is repeated until the student no longer requires my help.
