About Siya
My tutoring sessions will be concise and focused and will address all the difficulties that the student has, and I will work with the student to ensure that they have a clear understanding of exactly how to tackle the problems at hand. The sessions will be guided by past paper questions and will take an active recall-tailored approach to ensure that the student actually engages with the content. My nine Grade 9s at GCSEs and A* 3A at A-Levels for Science and Mathematics are a testament to the fact that if you just employ the right tricks, you can thrive academically. Becoming a medical student was a long and tedious process, however it was a really fruitful one in that it taught me a lot about how to manage my time, study efficiently and made me figure out study techniques that allowed me to understand large or difficult amounts of information in a short space of time.

The typical length of my lessons would be about fifty minutes. Forty minutes of it would consist of discussions with the students about what they are finding challenging, and then the last ten minutes would consist of active recall of what we have learnt and addressing any other queries the student has. My lessons would typically be for students aged 15-18, basically GCSE and A-Level students.
