About Alicia
I am an incoming medical student at the University of Oxford, beginning this October, with a strong academic background that includes 4 A*s at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Music, 11 GCSEs at grade 9, and a UCAT score of 3280 (top 1%). Alongside my studies, I have gained valuable experience tutoring younger students through a variety of school mentoring schemes, which has developed my ability to explain complex topics clearly and adapt to different learning styles.

I offer tutoring in GCSE and A-Level Maths, Biology and Chemistry. In addition, I can provide guidance for students preparing to apply to medicine, including help with admissions tests, interview practice, and support with applications. Lessons are designed to be engaging and tailored to each student’s individual needs. They usually combine clear explanations of challenging concepts with practice using past paper questions, development of exam technique, and structured revision planning between sessions. The overall aim is to build confidence, encourage genuine understanding, and help each student achieve the best results possible!
