About Shay
Hi! I'm a Pre-Med student at the University of Toronto, who is currently in their first year.
Through my experience of tutoring students of many ages (grade 3, 7, 12, etc.) We've been able to accomplish many academic goals together! Let's aim high and set goals together. If you want something really badly, you automatically put in the work (and I can help with that part, but I can aid you in finding motivation too!) That's when we'll see results.
I've learned that everyone has a unique learning style and I need to adjust my way of teach to suit the individual.
For example, I taught a third grader in person and she couldn't sit for more than 10 minutes! Even if you aren't a third grader, I get some people's brains can start to fog after some time. Feel free to let me know what works and doesn't.
Remember, I've also been a tutee and know how frustrating it can be when a tutor doesn't realize that their method that works for other isn't working for me.
