About Christina

Hi I'm Christina

Having recently completed school myself I recognise the importance of personalised teaching and tailoring the experience for the pupil. Not only does it improve the efficiency of learning but it also maximises improvement. I also prioritise in ensuring my students engage with the content, especially when it comes to GCSE, because it is only when a student has genuine interest are they motivated or driven to keep learning.

I have volunteered running a Mathematics conference at Oxford University, introducing and sharing advanced mathematical ideas with younger peers. Additionally, I participated in organising weekly STEM lessons for KS2, unlocking their curiosity for the sciences and even engineering.

I intend to make my lessons interactive as well as creating an environment that allows for the students to unapologetically be themselves, to ask questions and to challenge themselves.

About the lesson

I am a confident tutor for GCSE/IGCSE Maths, Chemistry and Physics but also an interactive teacher for curious KS2/KS3 students to learn about Maths and Sciences. I am happy to teach 1 hour online lessons, shorter lesson times are available for younger students. I am available during the weekdays, during after school times around 5 pm onwards and earlier around 9 - 11 am for the weekends but more importantly I ensure my lessons integrate seamlessly into the student's schedule.
