About Maisie

I am an undergraduate student, currently studying Film and Televison production at the University of York. I have had a passion for media for many years now and have strived to achieve the top grades I could in my subjects.

As a student myself I completely understand taking these exams and completing coursework can be very stressful. Trust me everyone goes through it. But I would love to provide you with the help you need to be confident with your subjects and abilities and love them just like I do!

I am incredibly passionate about media and want to share that passion with students like me. You deserve grades you are proud of and I would love to help you get there. I want to give the help I can to help better yourself and push yourself forward towards your future, wherever you may end up.

About the lesson

I can tutor GSCE students in Creative iMedia and Media Studies. As well as, A Level students studying Media Studies and Digital media.

I would provide 1-2 hour weekly zoom or Google meets sessions based on what best suits you!

I have previously tutored GSCE Creative iMedia students during Sixth Form. Where I helped improve and work on their course work with them.

During GSCE I took Creative iMedia, where I earned a Level 2 distinction* from my coursework and exams. I then studied Media Studies and Digital media during Sixth form. In Media Studies I achieved an A in my exams and an A* in my coursework. In Digital Media I achieved a distinction* grade overall.

I can help students with any course work or exam related issues they may have. I will vary the way the sessions run depending on the student and their specific needs in each individual session.

I can also help create and provide revision resources and look over an essay or coursework from the student each week and provide feedback.
