About Chiara
I am a very people-focused person, and I am currently studying Psychology because I want to learn to understand people's behaviour and way of thinking. I discovered my passion for teaching while running a homework club at my local library and volunteering to teach English in Taiwan. Both experiences showed me how rewarding it is to support others and see their confidence grow. It made me realise I want to spend the rest of my life helping people strive in areas they may struggle, and I want to use my psychological knowledge to help me understand each individual's needs.

My Approach to Tutoring I keep my lessons simple, clear, and focused on what each student needs most. I explain key concepts step by step, go through examples together, and then let the student try problems on their own with guidance. I can also help with homework, revision, and exam-style practice. Lesson Structure Lessons are flexible, usually 45 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on age, focus, and goals. Each session has a clear aim — whether that’s learning new material, revising, or building confidence with tricky topics. My Qualifications and Experience I achieved four A-Levels at A–A*, including A* in Mathematics, and I am currently a first-year undergraduate studying Psychological and Behavioural Sciences. I also have experience teaching Primary school children. Who My Lessons Are For I teach Maths from Primary school to A-Level, helping students of all ages build understanding, confidence, and exam success.
