About Olivia
I am a kind, responsible first-year Queen's University student, who is studying Politics and Economics. I love meeting new people, and trying new foods while traveling. It has been a lifelong dream to go to Paris and I hope someday it can come true. I love going on walks and reading, and in my free time catching up with friends.

I believe I would make a great tutor because I truly understand what it’s like to learn in a French Immersion environment, and I know how challenging it can be when concepts don’t click right away. As a hardworking student who balances school, volunteering, and part-time jobs, I’ve developed strong time-management skills and a lot of patience—two things every good tutor needs. I explain things in clear, simple ways, and I’m always willing to break down ideas step-by-step until they make sense. Because I’ve learned French the same way younger students are learning it now, I can relate to their struggles and offer strategies that actually work in real classrooms. Most importantly, I care about helping students feel confident and supported, and I want them to succeed not just in French, but in all their subjects. That’s why I believe I would be a great tutor for younger immersion students.
