About Munthaha

I have recently graduated in BSc Mathematics with First Class Honours at Queen Mary University of London. I have been tutoring Maths for five years, to KS2 up to A Level students, so can communicate to a plethora of age groups, and tailor my teaching style to different students. I have A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry, in which I achieved A*,A,A*,A, respectively.

About the lesson

I begin by listening to the students goals and what they believe their areas for improvement are. I may then test the students’ knowledge on some topics to gauge their ability and gaps in knowledge. My teaching style is learning by doing: questions, questions and more questions! As much as possible, I get students to mark their own work, to encourage being critical of their answers and to familiarise themselves with the mark schemes. To supplement tutorial sessions, I may assign homework according to the needs of each student.
