About Ben
Hi!
My name is Ben, I am a Teaching Fellow at the University of Portsmouth, I have just completed an MRes in Psychology using neuroscientific methods to explore anxiety disorders. I will be beginning a PhD in this topic next year, also.
I have taught cohorts of over 300, and have equal experience in teaching smaller groups at seminars and individual teaching sessions. I have taught neurodiverse students and have experience in teaching and supporting students with additional teaching requirements, including dyslexia, dyscalculia, autism and ADHD.
I also completed an A-Level in psychology, where my first love of psychology began! I have knowledge of AQA, Edexcel and WCR specifications.

I provide small assessments of various formats throughout, to solidly reinforce learning and encourage positive feedback with understanding content and it’s applications. These have proved very effective with my previous students, and is something I continually encourage within lessons.
