About Jonathan
I did very well at French in VCE and am still passionate about it now. Moreover I spent months revising and preparing for the final exam back in 2018 and still have all my materials in a big folder. I still read French regularly and can speak fluently. My services will primarily be useful for VCE students ultimately preparing for the exam.

Typical lessons will be 1 hour, usually starting with a warm-up reading exercise followed by a detailed explanation. What happens next depends on the student -- what particular topics you want to work on, what you are learning in class at the moment, etc. What I find is usuallu useful is a mixture of grammar, reading, listening, and speaking (i.e. conversation) practice. Every lesson will include some of each of these topics, but the relative focus will depend on the student. I have a large set of reference materials to share including grammar explanations and exercises, tips for passing the various parts of the yr12 exam, and French language resources. Depending on your level and preferred focus I may run most or all of the lesson in French.
Any secondary French students studying or intending to study VCE French are welcome.
Qualifications: I took French at VCE, obtaining a study score of 46. I subsequently studied French via elective subjects at the University of Melbourne, obtaining first-class honours in French 5, French 6, French 7, and French Translation.
