About Lorenzo

I am Lorenzo, Florentin by origin and Tourangeau by adoption. Indeed, after my Bachelor's degree in Florence, I obtained a Master 2 in Renaissance History at CESR of the University of Tours. Then, I obtained a Doctorate concerning the History of France and Tuscany during the Renaissance.

Italian is my mother tongue as well as the language I like to teach. Despite my training as a historian, I was a teacher in the Italian department during the 2020-2021 academic year. By having more than 300 hours of university teaching experience, I am sure I could help you learn, improve and perfect your Italian!

About the lesson

- The courses will be finalized to the mastery of the oral and written Italian language, privileging the conversation and the active learning.

- The grammar will be deepened through the use and thanks to examples during the conversation , reading and writing.

- Particular attention will be given to pronunciation and vocabulary, emphasizing the similarities and differences between Italian and English.

- Etymological, literary and historical digressions can help the pupil to contextualize the learning of the language. Learning a language is learning a culture and its history!

- The lessons will be personalized and adapted to the level and needs of the student.

Perfect! Très bonne connaissance de la langue française (et forcément italienne). Méthode pédagogique claire et progressive, très appréciable quand vous débutez. Culture générale de haut niveau, me semble-t-il.
Je ne peux malheureusement pas poursuivre les cours dans l'immédiat et finirai simplement le cycle de 10 cours, les contraintes horaires de ma profession étant trop importantes et trop aléatoires, en particulier pour programmer un calendrier régulier de cours.
