As a Florida Certified Teacher holding a Master’s degree in Education (M.Ed.) and a proud mother of 7, patience, adaptability, and encouragement are at the heart of everything I do. My diverse professional background includes 4 years of teaching public school Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2, alongside 3 years of dedicated GED coaching—including meaningful experience teaching within the prison system. About the lesson

My Teaching Method: As a Florida-certified teacher with an M.Ed., I use the proven "I Do, We Do, You Do" framework. I break complex math into visual, digestible steps using interactive online whiteboards, focusing on conceptual understanding rather than just memorization.

A Typical Lesson: Every 60-minute session is structured for success: a 5-minute diagnostic warm-up, 20 minutes of guided instruction, 25 minutes of independent practice where I catch and correct errors in real-time, and a 10-minute wrap-up.

What Sets Me Apart: I combine 4 years of classroom experience teaching state standards (Algebra I/II, Geometry) with 3 years of specialized GED coaching. I know exactly how to prep high schoolers for Florida EOCs and how to help adult learners overcome "math anxiety" to pass the GED.
