About HL
Growing up in both Hong Kong and Mainland China, I developed a deep appreciation for the richness of both Mandarin and Cantonese. Moving to Australia further ignited my passion for teaching Chinese, allowing me to immerse myself in a new cultural context while continuing to share my love for Mandarin and Cantonese with students from diverse backgrounds.
My goal as your teacher is not only to help you become proficient in Mandarin and Cantonese but also to instill in you a lifelong curiosity and appreciation for the beauty of the Chinese language and culture. I'm here to support and inspire you every step of the way!

My teaching approach emphasizes making learning enjoyable by incorporating games and teaching aids to engage students in language acquisition. Typically, the length of a lesson ranges from 0.5 to 2 hours. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I have three years of experience working with young children in Hong Kong. I have interned at two kindergartens, taught extracurricular classes, and tutored primary and secondary school students. Since coming to Australia, I have also worked and interned at various childcare centers. I am capable of teaching students of all ages, with a particular focus on children.
