About Rhea
Hello! I’m an English tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics with a focus on English Literature. I am passionate about reading, storytelling, and creative writing, and I love sharing this passion with my students. My lessons focus on improving reading comprehension, essay writing, literary analysis, and vocabulary through exciting texts and imaginative tasks. I work with teens, college students, and aspiring writers, tailoring each session to their interests and goals. Together, we explore literature, discuss ideas, and develop critical thinking skills. My English teaching approach is interactive, lively, and fully tailored to each student’s individual goals. I focus on helping learners build confidence in communication through role-playing real-life scenarios, script-based activities, and structured conversation practice. These methods allow students to develop natural, expressive, and effective speaking skills.
A strong emphasis is placed on voice modulation, expression, and confident delivery, helping students make their speech more engaging and impactful. Lessons are designed to improve fluency while maintaining accuracy, ensuring that learners can communicate clearly in both informal and formal contexts.
In addition to speaking skills, I provide practical training in reading, writing, vocabulary development, pronunciation, and grammar. These areas are taught in an applied manner, helping students use language effectively in academic, professional, and everyday situations. Learners also gain techniques for presenting ideas clearly, performing scripts effectively, and adapting language for different audiences.
Each session is student-centered, allowing learners to focus on their personal learning priorities. I provide structured guidance, constructive feedback, and targeted strategies to help students succeed in exams, interviews, presentations, and real-world communication. Activities such as debates, storytelling, speech practice, and improvisation keep lessons engaging and dynamic.
