Fluent English speaker with an eagerness to teach English and Math subjects
Methodology
I start off by understanding the student by observing their struggles and also what they enjoy. I also gauge their personality to better suit how I should teach. I try my best not to be very formal so that they are more comfortable with the lessons and my friendly approach. I cater the lessons to how the student feels most confident and always give constructive feedback and praise.
Background
I have experience tutoring Elementary students in their after school program teaching Math and English. I also help my 11 and 12-year-old niece and nephew with their online schooling. I love teaching the youth and strive that they feel confident in learning and understanding new things.
