About Jeremy
Am am the son of a translator/editor. My father (who is a French native) has done translating/editing and voice-over translating for over forty years. With help from my father, along with personal experience translating for individual persons in conversation, I have come to develop skills for instructing rudimentary French language skills. I have also done simultaneous voice-over translating from French into English in France and in Quebec.

How did you learn your first language? Did you start by saying phrases as soon as you were old enough to speak? Of course not! Simple words were taught first. It is from that perspective I approach language learning. Instead of jumping to teaching phrases and sentences in the beginning lessons, I focus rather on learning individual words or nouns as the foundation from which sentences and phrases will be formed. Basic greetings will accompany the first stages of instruction, with phrases and sentences to follow.
