About Jisu
Korean being my mother tongue, I speak the language fluently as I constantly keep up with Korean news articles, movies, books and my friends and family. My passion lies in teaching and meeting new people; I have many years of experience teaching English to Korean students, but now I want to turn the gear around and give back to the English-speaking community that wants to learn Korean and more about Korea in general.

My priority when teaching is customization and engagement. I structure my curriculum around individual student's level, preference and interests for quicker improvement. I also try to pick various topics and methods to keep the students engaged. For example, I would provide excerpts of Korean TV shows to learn about dynamic daily expressions versus merely reading over textbooks.
