About Emma

I offer inspiring, motivating and enjoyable lessons. I adapt each class and course of learning to your individual needs to ensure that you fulfil your unique musical aspirations!

I teach both the Piano and Flute and am an experienced Musician and Qualified Teacher (PGCE) with many years' experience of teaching both children and adults.   

I have enjoyed playing the Piano and Flute for many years. I've explored different styles of music and have played with interesting groups and orchestras. I love to share my knowledge with others so that as many people as possible can experience the joyfulness of music! I really love guiding students on their unique musical journeys and I always receive encouraging and heartwarming feedback from my students.

I teach in-person and online.

About the lesson

Whether you are a complete beginner, looking to progress or take an exam, or returning to an instrument after a long break, I'll adapt a course of learning to suit your unique musical goals and your individual learning style.

I specialise in:

♪ Teaching Beginners to Advanced (absolutely all ages!)
♪ ‘Adults Returning to an Instrument’
♪ Preparation for ABRSM / Trinity Exams (Grades 1-8)
♪ Bespoke Courses for ‘Pure Enjoyment of Music’
