About Ella
As a classically trained flutist accepted to many of the most competitive music conservatories, I strive to make music accessible to all students. I am an experienced orchestral and solo player. With years of formal training in flute, music theory, and classical music, I am able to provide students with firm technique including tone development, tonguing, finger placement, and breathing among other skills. Through lessons, you will learn skills that will prepare you for settings that include orchestra, solo recitals, and chamber music.

I teach flutists of all ages beginner through late intermediate. Whether you are a first year band student, hobbyist or adult hoping to find a new creative outlet, I support and encourage it all.
I believe teaching goes far beyond learning the technical skills of an instrument. Learning to love music and love what you do is one of the most powerful ways of self-expression.
