Hey All!
My name is Dr. Myles Garvey. I have attempted 2 Ph.Ds (Math @ Temple Unviersity, 1 Year Coursework), and I hold a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management and Marketing Science from Rutgers University. I also hold a B.S. in Mathematics and a separate B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Hartford, and I have been tutoring privately since I was 14 years old.
I have over a decade of university teaching experience across Northeastern University, William Paterson University, Rutgers Business School, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Montclair State University, and New Jersey City University, teaching everything from introductory statistics and calculus to graduate-level machine learning, econometrics, artificial intelligence, and supply chain analytics.
My tutoring style is patient, thorough, and deeply personalized. I meet students where they are and build from there. I have worked with students at every level — high school, undergraduate, graduate, and MBA — and I specialize in making difficult quantitative and technical subjects genuinely understandable, not just memorizable.
I am available for high school juniors and seniors through graduate-level coursework. My strongest subject areas include Mathematics (Calculus, Statistics, Linear Algebra, Real Analysis), Computer Science (Python, Java, R, Data Structures, AI), Data Science and Machine Learning, Business Analytics, Economics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and Philosophy.
