About Lizzanne
I believe in sharing my truths and challenges with my students so they understand that they are not alone in their challenges, fears, and insecurities. It matters not so much where they're coming from, but where they want to go. Students should feel comfortable to learn, explore, ask questions, and be inspired to become the best version of themselves. I have worked with children as young as 2 years of age to seniors, directed bands and choirs, and the common thread is respect, relatability, honesty, patience, and humility. I strive to keep these principles in the forefront of my teaching.

My Philosophy on Teaching my students
Teaching should be creative, practical, inspirational and transformative. You should learn something about yourself that you didnt know before that should change you for the better
Both teacher and student are accountable for the success of the student. For younger students, parental involvement is paramount
Write the vision and make it plain: review and revise if necessary so that day to day goals remain practical and achievable
Learning should be fun! Process is powerful and builds character. Don't rush the process!
