About Tom
Learning a musical instrument is incredibly rewarding. Playing an instrument improves memory, helps relieve stress, builds confidence, gives you a real sense of achievement and its great fun! Whatever your motivation I am happy to help you learn to play, perform and understand music theory to a high standard. My lessons are structured to each individual’s needs and always delivered in a friendly and encouraging manner. I am happy to teach you in your own home and/ or via zoom. Lessons cover instrumental technique, sight reading, jazz improvisation and theory. I love inspiring new pupils and always offer a free taster lesson.

Tom Neale is an excellent, focussed and friendly teacher rooted equally in classical and jazz traditions with 15 years teaching experience of both and 100% exam pass rate .His experienced and personal approach will help you achieve your musical goals whether you are working towards exams, a performance, or simply aiming to improve your instrumental skills. He is in demand as a session saxophonist and doubles on flute and clarinet. As well as achieving a BA Hons Jazz degree(2:1) from Leeds Conservatoire Tom has achieved an ATCL performance diploma on classical guitar.
