About Foley
My name is Foley Williams, and I've been playing guitar for over 9 years — across acoustic, blues, and slide traditions. I've performed in bands, as a solo artist, and in studio sessions, and I've taught guitar in private and group settings for the last 8 years. I also work with singer-songwriters who want to develop their guitar skills and incorporate blues and slide techniques into their music. My students trust me because I'm warm, experienced, and I always tailor lessons to their personal goals and musical tastes. I've helped beginners master their first chord progressions, intermediate players develop expressive blues phrasing, and slide guitar beginners get that singing, sustained tone. With me, you'll learn to play with feeling, control, and a deep connection to the music.

Hi, I'm Foley Williams. I've taught guitar for 8 years, and my focus is on helping players develop a rich, expressive sound — with a special emphasis on acoustic, blues, and slide guitar. I work with beginners discovering the instrument, intermediate players wanting to expand their technique, and experienced players looking to add slide and blues phrasing to their toolkit. My lessons cover hand position, chord progressions, fingerpicking, and strumming patterns. For blues, I teach bending, vibrato, slides, and expressive phrasing that makes the guitar sing. For slide guitar, I cover open tunings, slide control, and that singing, crying tone that cuts through any mix. I also help students develop the confidence to perform, whether that's jamming with friends or playing on stage. My approach is patient, creative, and always focused on the music you love.
