About Charniya
I started by listening to old records on the floor of my childhood home. That obsession led me to study music formally and play festivals across the South for 13 years. I have spent my career working with absolute beginners who want to strum their first chord and advanced players looking for new lead techniques.
My approach covers acoustic technique and music theory alongside the practical side of reading tabs. I help you navigate scales and modes while managing your guitar maintenance. I support performance-focused students who need to prepare for grade exams or stage time. I prefer to keep our progress steady and focused on your personal goals.

You will find that my approach centers on the rhythm and the feel of the song. I provide custom backing tracks so you can practice your soloing at home with a full band behind you.
My teaching style relies on the 13 years of experience I gained from touring and my BA Folk Music degree. I want you to feel the music as much as you analyze the theory. We address your specific hurdles with patience and a groove minded outlook.
I believe that steady practice creates the best results for any guitarist. I am here to help you get the sound you want out of your wood and strings.
