About Gold
I hold a BSc in Medicinal Chemistry and have over 3 years of experience tutoring high school and college students. My passion lies in helping learners understand how the structure of a molecule reveals itself through advanced techniques like NMR, Mass Spectrometry, and X-ray Crystallography. These methods turn the invisible into something tangible and fascinating. My favorite moments are when a student successfully interprets a spectrum or identifies an unknown compound with logic and reasoning. I help them master spectroscopy and develop the skills to solve chemical puzzles by understanding how atoms connect and interact. I also bring in real-world examples from medicinal and materials chemistry to deepen their curiosity. Whether you’re preparing for exams or looking to explore beyond the textbook, I’ll help you think critically, solve problems, and enjoy the process. Join me in the journey to become a molecular detective and uncover the secrets of matter through the lens of modern chemistry.

My chemistry lessons aim to explore not just what happens during a reaction, but why it happens. I teach stoichiometry, thermodynamics, and chemical kinetics with a focus on their mathematical roots and physical meaning. We also explore the quantum mechanics behind atomic behavior and how this affects chemical bonding and reactivity.
Each student is guided with care and patience. I tailor lessons based on their pace and comfort level, whether they’re visual learners or prefer hands-on exercises. I support students who enjoy abstract thinking—like DIY biologists and sci-fi fans—by connecting deep theory to their unique interests and goals.
We tackle complex topics like entropy, Schrödinger's equation, and statistical mechanics through discussion, visualization, and problem-solving. My mission is to help students discover their voice in the world of chemistry and feel a sense of inner clarity as they explore the building blocks of matter.
