About Geoff
I am a self employed ICT Technician who found out the hard way that in the field of ICT, being overqualified yet under experienced is indeed a bitter truth to swallow. As a result, after getting my last CompTIA certification: The Network + followed by the Ethical Hacking Certification, I was then to fall prey to the grinding gears of bureaucracy if I hadn't discovered another option.
Since that day, I have been molding and morphing and shaping not just the current business plan, but also where i saw/might see my company, DSYDRTEC, in the future.
I've never tutored in any official capacity. However, I have assisted 2 girlfriends through university, both who maintained HD's exclusively, a grade that was not the norm for them but well within their potential. And those subjects I knew nothing about.
I believe I could be an instrumental teacher as I understand every possible aspect of my craft, and refuse to muddy the waters with jargon, when my true talent becomes evident as I can simplify and make understandable any concept to anyone.

My teaching method may be considered...gestating (lol). I've not spent any time in any official capacity practicing the art of teaching, however in my everyday life (and to the constant annoyance of my friends), I find myself in the role of teacher quite often.
From a young age I was lovingly if not at times jealously referred to as, "The Greatest IT Technician around". Of course, hubris and a mighty ego in the mind of a young'n misconstrued what made me such an effective IT Tech - and what set me apart from the rest of the herd.
The biggest difference, besides my painstakingly pedantic nature, was my ability to patiently explain and then re-explain certain notions that seemed to be getting lost on some. People would tell me 'I know nothing about computers, and I never will'.
Within the day, I would have revised the whole way I approached whatever topic with which the person struggled, and 10 times out of 10, through communication and perseverance, there would be no body left feeling unsure about their own knowledge at the end of the day.
This is a quality I hope to share with you all.
