About Josh
I’ve tutored for 10+ years throughout my academic journey, inspired by my father and grandmother who are both devout teachers. As a Professional Engineer by trade, I have a strong base in math, physics, and other STEM subjects. While working in a lab at the university I attended, I loved to mentor aspiring engineering students. I will always be kind and patient, and make the learning process as engaging as possible

I will review the class module or course curriculum, and type of assignments being given in class, so that I can tailor the lessons around working through questions that will look familiar on exam day. My approach revolves around asking “what do we need a better understanding of?” … In order to answer this question, I review past work to identify areas of improvement and work through similar examples, building from fundamentals to answer each question. Where possible, I will employ the use of mnemonic devices and other memory cues to help students recall multi-step problem-solving methods.
