Former Adjunct Mathematics Professor: Worked in Math Center Helping Students in Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus. Goal: bring the level of the subject down to a manageable level for the student.

I have known David Shoup for approximately 12 years. I first met him when he was auditing a physics class that I was teaching at Lincoln Land Community College. He was auditing the class just for review. Since then, David and I have kept in touch due to our shared interests in science and mathematics. David has a Ph.D. in chemistry and is retired from doing research.

During his retirement, David has worked part-time at Lincoln Land Community College in the Learning Lab where he has tutored students one-on-one in math and science. David is a very pleasant person. He has a sincere interest in helping students and is very patient with students. He will go the extra mile to help students understand the material.
