About Franz

Franz Archibald is a State of New Jersey Certified Substitute teacher, a Scrum Certified leader, and a former adjunct professor with 20+ years’ experience as a Strategy executive including designing and running business education sessions on e.g. finance, business and corporate strategy, innovation workgroup culture, product development and intellectual property asset monetization. During his tenure as a Global Head of Product Strategy at a Wall Street firm, Franz designed and oversaw the firm’s Product Development program including teaching its introductory session for new Product Development analysts and associates for almost a decade.

Franz is passionate about helping others achieve their full potential. He received college accredited (i) ESL teaching training at Seneca College (Toronto, Canada) and (ii) Public Accounting Tutoring training at Northwood University (Midland, MI). Franz gives back to the community by being actively involved in volunteering with and mentoring young students and business professionals in the State of New Jersey, throughout the country and overseas.

My lessons / sessions use college accredited based, supportive teaching approaches and are suitable for high school, college and professional adult students. During these sessions / lessons, I:
1) Distill even the most challenging concepts into easily understood bite size pieces that are relatable based on each student's skill level

2) Emphasize developing tangible skills necessary to succeed in varying environments including competitive and demanding settings

3) Always start with an overview, then drill down to key pillars / frameworks and extend to related subject matters where applicable and effective

4) Round out each session a recap to ensure the student can connect everything covered to the wider topic being taught

5) Instill student and learning confidence by fostering a supportive learning environment inclusive of varying learning styles in which curiosity is encouraged and reinforced, and no question is considered "silly" or "wrong"
