About Mumbake
I am Zambian, a former Banker who has also worked as a Sales Consultant for many Companies. I have a collective experience of at least 20 years in the Financial industry and mostly the retail sector dealing with people on a one to one basis. I am currently resident in Cape Town South Africa where I run a small Construction business. In my leisure time I enjoy music and writing short stories.

My teaching methodology will be largely based on the desired expectations of my students since this platform attract diversity from all over the World. To achieve this, I will employ or borrow the seven principals for good practice in undergraduate education namely :
Encourage contact between students and faculty/teacher(Me)
Develop reciprocity and cooperation among students
Encourage active learning
Give prompt feedback
Emphasize time on task
Communicate high expectations
Respect diverse talents and ways of learning
I mainly encourage my students to be proactive and assertive in that English is an abstract language which employs an abstract alphabet, so one has to be pragmatic. Therefore, approach the language in a more practical way. Learning is a continuous process and Language in its entirety is authority.
