Hello! I’m Zaiynab, a dedicated Medical Sciences student at UCLan with hands-on clinical experience in orthopaedic surgery and anaesthetics. My tutoring style is student-focused, encouraging, and tailored to each learner’s pace and confidence level. I believe that everyone can understand Biology once it’s explained in a relatable and structured way, so I use real-life medical and scientific examples to make complex topics easier to visualise and remember. During lessons, I use a mix of interactive questioning, exam-style practice, and visual aids to strengthen understanding and boost exam technique. I also help students develop revision strategies, active recall methods, and confidence in applying knowledge rather than memorising facts. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though I can adapt sessions to 45 or 90 minutes depending on the student’s needs and attention span. I have two years of experience mentoring and tutoring students aged 13–18, supporting GCSE and A-Level learners in Biology and related sciences. My background in Medical Sciences at UCLan and my clinical experience in orthopaedic theatres and anaesthetics give me a deep understanding of biology in practice, something I love sharing to inspire future medics and scientists. My lessons are ideal for GCSE and A-Level students who want to improve grades, understand difficult concepts, or build confidence before exams.
