About the lesson

I have taught a wide variety of ages and am comfortable teaching English lessons across the board including Language, Literature, Writing, and ESL. I love learning and hope to share my passion and enthusiasm with prospective students. A typical lesson plan with me involves getting to know you and utilizing your interests in order to make your lessons more enjoyable, for example, in a writing lesson I'd have the student write about a subject they are passionate about in order to gain their attention and focus.

About Rebekah

My name is Rebekah Katen and I have my Master's degree from Gardner-Webb University. I love learning, teaching, and inspiring others with my passion and enthusiasm for English in its many forms. I have experience teaching ESL online through VIPKid to children ages 3-8, I have taught high school and college-age students English Composition through Greenville Technical College, and I have taught adult learners through Gaston College.
