About Umberto

Ciao! I'm Umberto, a native Italian speaker with a degree in Psychology from the University of Pavia and an international background, having studied and competed as a college swimmer in Florida.
Sport has taught me discipline, consistency, and the importance of building confidence step by step, values I bring to my lessons, too.
I'm passionate about the Italian language, our culture, and connecting with people from different backgrounds. My goal is to help you feel comfortable speaking Italian through real conversations, everyday expressions, and a relaxed, friendly approach.
Whether you're learning Italian for travel, work, or simply because you love Italy, we'll work towards your goals at your own pace. Less fear of making mistakes, more speaking, and a little Italian *dolce vita* along the way!

About the lesson

Forget memorizing endless grammar rules ,let's start speaking Italian
My lessons are built around real conversations, everyday situations, and the expressions Italians actually use. Whether you want to travel around Italy, chat with locals, or feel more confident speaking the language, we'll work on what matters to you.
We'll keep things relaxed and interactive, with grammar explained along the way whenever you need it. Every lesson is adapted to your level, interests, and goals.
The idea is simple: speak more, learn naturally, and have fun doing it. Ci vediamo!
