About Abbey
I'm Abbey! I graduated in 2014 with Bachelor's Degrees in Sociology/Criminal Justice and Spanish as well as a minor in Psychology. I have prior experience in both teaching/tutoring elementary, middle and high school. I am a state certified probation officer and 911 dispatcher.
I have been tutoring Spanish on and off for about 14 years. In addition, I have 1 year of Spanish classroom teaching experience at the elementary and middle school levels. I have also taught grades 2-3 Title I as well as high school Psychology and Economics.
I want my students to develop a love for learning!

I believe in order to become proficient with something you must first construct a foundation. When working with students in learning the Spanish language, I like to heavily focus on building a vocabulary bank. I use a variety of techniques to complete this goal according to each student's learning style. I am a flexible tutor and love to have input from my tutee's on what will best help them achieve their learning goals.
