About Max
Hi, I’m Max, a friendly and enthusiastic tutor with a passion for helping students reach their full potential. Having recently completed my A-levels, I understand the challenges that students face and how important it is to have support from someone who can explain concepts clearly and patiently.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping others succeed. During sixth form, I worked with younger students who were struggling to achieve their target grades, and it was incredibly rewarding to see their confidence grow as they improved. Seeing students go from feeling stuck and frustrated to achieving grades they were proud of is what motivates me to tutor.
As a recent student myself, I can relate to the pressures of exams and know the study techniques and exam strategies that work. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and achieving the best results they can.

I am a dedicated and approachable tutor with a strong academic background in Maths, Business and Biology. During my time in sixth form, I helped younger students who were working at grades 4–5 improve to grade 7 and above through targeted support and exam-focused teaching.
I believe every student learns differently, so I personalise each lesson to suit their strengths, weaknesses and learning style. I begin by identifying the topics a student finds most challenging and then create a structured plan to build both their understanding and confidence. My sessions focus not only on learning content, but also on developing exam technique and problem-solving skills that lead to higher grades.
Having recently completed my own A-levels, I understand the pressures students face and can explain difficult concepts in a clear, relatable way. My aim is to help students enjoy the subject, gain confidence, and achieve the best results possible.
