About Rhiannon
I have been teaching Art in Secondary Schools for 5 years and have been a Head of Art, overseeing KS3, KS4 and KS5. In addition to art, I have taught Graphics and Photography at GCSE. My students and Department were very successful and students made excellent progress.
My degree is in Architecture from the University of Bath but I decided I wanted to pass on my passion for art to others which is why I trained to be an Art Teacher. I have a PGCE in Art and Design and full QTS, I also have a personal DBS check.

I find that the way to ensure students truly enjoy my lessons is by making the lessons personal to each individual student. This may involve understanding the hobbies or interests of the student and then building ideas for project work around these interests.
Due to the arts being sidelined in UK schools, students often do not have many of the basic skills required to create brilliant artwork for GCSE and A-Level. I always ensure that students develop a mastery of these skills and techniques in a variety of media. This allows the student to grow in confidence and creating artwork has a lot to do with confidence.

Lessons must be cancelled 24 hours in advance otherwise the full lesson rate will be charged even though no lesson takes place.
Online lessons and face to face lessons are both charged at the same rate.
